A fantastic Gala Day out at Camden was had by all on Sunday with 3 from 3 wins for the Northern Beaches Stray Cats. The boys took a bus trip out to Western Sydney, to see how they would fair in this newly formed team of Stray cats and they didn't disappoint!!
They had 3 great wins throughout the day, with 17 tries scored overall by the boys and 2 disallowed. The forwards did their part in force by dominating in their own half, pushing back the defensive line which opened up the park for the backs to do their thing, running the ball and piling on the points for the visitors. Great work boys, you'll be feeling it today I'm sure!! Our thanks goes out to all the teams that competed, and to Camden Rugby Club and its staff, for putting on such a great event. The boys then jumped back on the bus for an eventful journey home, going on to their home drinking hole the 7th Day Brewery in Brookvale, where they celebrated their success with their proud sponsors and one or two pints to say the least...!
